    Hi John,

I've just registered on your site & will be requesting a quote in a mo. I couldn't see where to request the Argos catalogue though?

    Hi Legs,

Did you get your catalogues, I dropped them off at the Admin offfice and they said that they would contact you?
I never got a catalogue. Admin office deny all knowledge... Still an Argos catalogue free zone...

    Hi Misty

The catalogue request feature has been taken off of the site as it was not working properly and there were quite a few requests that I did not receive.

If you want to pm me the address of your quarter I will drop you one off during my next delivery run which will more than likely be at the weekend

The same goes for you Legs, if you pm me your address, I'll drop you one off.

As a general update I have just started delivering orders from A quarter of

They sell all old sweets (not used, just ones that you used to buy years ago). They have been trying to deliver to BFPO addresses for quite a while but have been unable to. We now collect their BFPO orders and deliver them to BFPO so that they can be posted through the system.

As always if anybody has any questions or you wants a catalogue then please do not hesitate to contact me.
    Thanks in advance,

Now for a REAL test. High value order sent just now on your website.. How do you arrange the Tax Free?

I need this item in 10 days or less!

Maybe a little place for remarks or comments on the order form would be useful.

    Hi Legs

I will see to the order form ASAP but unfortunately I have had to take all reference to tax free sales off of the web site.

Although everything was cleared Customs and Immigration while the company was being set up they have now decided that I am not entitled to sell things tax free because I am not the original retailer.

I am in the process of arguing this with them but I cannot see them changing their minds.

To that end there is no way that I can do tax free orders for the foreseeable future.

Happy to say that John delivered my new camera this morning!

There were a few teething problems with his new site format, but now that he's fixed them I'm sure I'll send some repeat business his way.

    Thanks John

Erm, I heard a nasty rumour that John may not be continuing his business, does anyone know if this is true? I hope not because his service is great.

    Were Back!

    Hi All,

It is true, as not enough people were using the service it got into financial difficulty. It was planned that the service would be down for only a few deliveries and I had to stop trading at Christmas.

I had a meeting with financiers on the 14th of Jan in order to secure finance and along I went with fresh new business plan and new business model etc. I came away with provisional acceptance of the loan.

It took until a few weeks ago to until I finally received the god news that the loan was on its way.

If I had not heard by a few days after I got the good news was going to have to close the company and find a new job.

The company is as I am sure you will all agree a much needed service and it can make a great business and once the delivery service is successful I plan on turning my attention to other BFPO orientated problems.

To make this work it really does need to be a community thing and I need everybody to do their bit in spreading the word. One of the main problems last time apart from lack of an advertising budget was that many many people wanted to use the service but wanted to see how it turned out first.

It is an old and all too common story with start-up companies often ironically resulting in the companies’ failure.

Anyway, the good news is that we are delivering again. I plan on the first delivery being around the 18th of this month (April).

If you have any thoughts as to what services you would like to see us doing please let me know and I will look into it.

There will soon be a survey that you can take that will give me leverage when trying to get big companies to deliver to you.

Thanks for listening to my ranting and raving, sorry for not posting an update sooner and I appreciate any feedback you have.
    Thanks in advance,
