ok, just looked, no jobs in Fallingbostel oh well i'll try later

My friend and I went to the GLSU on camp the other day and there were 3 jobs available then, probably best to get yourself in there once you're here

Does anyone know where the officers married quaters are normally, I know we've asked for off base....

On camp it depends which regiment I think, as they're on different sides, but off camp I wouldnt know sorry!

My husband posting is up and we are coming back to fally, well when i say we are i mean my husband because this is my first time coming to germany, and im pertified, ive heard good and bad stories, but reading your site has put my nerves at rest, you all sound a good and helpfull bunch, well talking about jobs, i need one, im a chef and at the moment im working in the officers mess in warminster, is there any chefs jobs there, and my son who is 17 years old is coming over with us he is a waiter in the officers mess, he needs a job to. How easy is it to get a job, and where do i go, do they have job centers like us, well thanks for listening to me and i hope to hear from you soon

Hi Sandra - welcome to the board

As you're both dependants, it will be easier than non-dependants to find a job. There's a place on camp called the GLSU and it's situated in the RRF/SDG side (near the Med Centre and on the other side to the big Naafi) and that's basically the job centre for camp, so you'd find jobs like Mess Chefs/Clerks/Typists etc.

Im moving out to Fally in october but to rented accomadation off camp i think ( the bfs sorted it!)

I'm moving to Fally on Tuesday, but I'll be working in Hohne.

I'm told that's a long drive, and I have a little dog, so although she's used to being on her own during the day, the long drive means she'll be alone longer.
My question (at last!), is, does anyone know of any dog walkers or doggy day care type schemes in the Fally area?

My pooch is a West Highland Terrier, she's 11 years old and very sweet.

Can anyone help?
