Thread: Travel Insurance

Hi all,

Can anyone recommend me a good travel insurance for members of the lean green fighting machine. I only need a single trip policy.

hubs took one out with abacus for a 2 week trip, he has kit insurance with them so thought that was the one to go with. me and little one just get normal standard travelinsurance (postoffice, bank,travelcompany)

you could also try forces financial - hubby also has kit insurance and home insurance with them! x

I just get normal bog standard insurance for all of us to cover medical stuff/cancellation etc because our contents insurance is covered by his kit policy so it makes no difference, we still get paid out. If you're looking for cover to take into account cancellations for short notice ops I'm not sure who to use. Most regular insurance companies steer well clear of 'war' cover.

Thats the problem Bodger, hit the nail on the head there. As he is on notice to deploy it is nigh on impossible.
