It sounds unbelievably cliche...
nowt more cliche then the army
Jesus. That's all we need. Gareth and the RMB Chivenor girls did a good enough job of representing the other halves, can't we just leave it at that? You know, quit whilst we're ahead sort of thing?
It was bound to happen, I have to admit I used to love Soldier Soldier.
TLC x
'Former Coronation Street producer Kim Crowther is involved in the project with Roberts, who has also worked on the soap. The show has been created by Birds of a Feather scribe Sue Teddern, who will collaborate with Coronation Street and Clocking Off writer Jan McVerry.'
Come now sceptics...surely with writers and producers of such hard hitting and realistic dramas we can expect nothing but viewing of a truly authentic and realistic calibre? No?
I wish they would bring back soldier soldier donna I miss you!
All the cool kids have a signature but I have nothing witty or profound to say.
So no-one keeping an eye out for the casting call then?
We nicked..erm...i mean borrowed the Soldier Soldier boxset from his mum, still not even nearly half way through it yet. Must try harder!

I do hope that it will be upbeat and positive, it does annoy me that Military WAGS CAN be portrayed as downtrodden depressive stay at home mothers with no life of their own. They should make sure it includes them partying when the OH's go away, living in mess, hairy, drunk, coping well strong women! (or is that just me when he goes away!!?) - or would that be something similar to TOWIE/GS i don't know!
ha ha ha soldier soldier was good!
Oh good grief, I can't think of anything worse. My stereotype radar has gone off the scale!
If anyone thinks about offering some research/consultation advice to the production team, perhaps Bad CO should drop them a line. I'm sure a small working group of us lot would give a more accurate picture of MODERN military wives.
If series one is Army, will there be a series two, three and four for the RAF, RN and RM?![]()
