Thumbs up Wattisham/Hadleigh area - guaranteed march out cleaners??

Can anyone recommend cleaners who guarantee march out in Hadleigh? Off to Canada so need to march out by proxy. Not been to the HIVE yet, so that will be my next port of call.

    Thanks Wriggley

I think there are only 2 ideal being one. I don't know where Wattisham is but ideal cover the south. Be warned though they wanted to charge us £445 for our 3 bed £90 of that was just to clean the cooker!

Bloody hell! We're about to march out and I was going to call them. Looks like we'll be doing a runner and leaving no forwarding address!

I've still got the paperwork they supplied with their quote which breaks it down into exactly what you're paying for. I'll dig it out later and put it on here. They do say it's done on a completely individual basis but I can assure you my house is not dirty (admittedly my cookers a bit manky but not ninety pounds worth of manky, I mean really how much does a bit of mothers pride cost nowadays??!!).

We googled the individual services in our area and found that for cleaning the cooker, carpets and general quarter cleaning we got it to about £235 and because we decided we're perfectly capable of doing the general clean ourselves it's £165 I think. Obviously we run the risk that DE will decide it's not good enough and charge us anyway but I think it might well be a risk worth taking.

I gave up with contract cleaners years ago. They charge a fortune and do a crap job. I can do it better myself and I make sure nobody moving in after me can call me a mucky cow. Every house I've moved into in the past 10 years or so has been contract cleaned and none have been up to the right standard. The house we're in now hadn't even seen a bloody cleaner. I had to scrape food off the walls and cupboards and the cooker was so disgusting they chose not to have it cleaned and just replaced it.

    The breakdown:

    Cooker:£90
Carpets: £10 per room (halls and stairways being classed as rooms too) so in our case £80
    General clean: £275

The carpet cleaning is actually (based on other estimates I found) exceptionally cheap but you can't have them clean your carpets unless you also book them for the general clean.

They say they judge on an individual basis but the price for the general clean will only change dependant on house size and whether or not you have a garage and/or a shed.
