On 29 June AFF is holding an Employment & Careers Fair for 2 LANCS dependants in advance of the battalion’s move to Weeton. The fair is being held in the Epi Centre in Dodge from 0830 and should not go on past 1200. The following advice will be available on the day:
  • Employment opportunities in the Weeton area (mainly through the local Job Centre and recruitment agencies);
  • Brief tips on how to approach a potential employer;
  • General careers guidance;
  • Advice about applying for state benefits on your return home; and
  • CV tips and advice.
You do not need to bring anything along with you on the day but if you already have a CV prepared please bring that with you so that our experts can advise you how to improve your CV (if it needs improved at all of course).
