Discuss Cross Stitch in Craft Corner on Rear Party; I know a few of you ladies do it and I was wondering if you could give me any hints and tips for getting started? What are reasonably priced websites/designs to start with etc? Thanks...

This is where I go to for all my kits: The UK's largest online Needlecraft shop - Sew and So

Excellent service and quick postage. One thing I like is if you buy a chart on its own, the site tots up a list of the materials you need to complete it. No effort.

i go to the same website as above and also recommend buying one of the cross stitch magazines - as sometimes they come with a free mini kit which are good to start with. I but crosssticher magazine - that has a whole section in every issue that covers the basics etc x definately worth a look x

I buy from the same website too, seems to be the best. Start with a fairly easy one obviously - the disney ones seem to be the easiest to do I've found. Tatty teddy is a bloody nightmare, I hated doing that one.
