Thread: aberdeen butteries

so was asked to put this on by CK so here it is. only make 1 batch so far and they didn't come out quite right but am going to try again!butteries
lots more scottish faves on there too

Good CO is appalled at the "lard, butter, lard" combination in a buttery. Frankly, I think slap some butter on it and eat sounds good.

I'm starving.

Bring on the butteries -thanks for the recipe!!!!!

(and tell Good CO he clearly doesn't know what's good for him...buttery (hot) with butter and jam.......nommmmm)

I may well attempt to make some when I'm feeling brave enough to spend longer in the kitchen than the time it takes to boil a kettle. ops:

Made the 2nd batch today and it came out alot better, now enjoying a cuppa with a buttery covered in butter and jam - bang goes the diet!

If you lived close enough to me I would gladly make you some, actually enjoying making them! Did my 3rd batch today and they are perfect even if I do say so myself!!
