dont care about what other people think, there will always be people who will want to see you fail because they can't succeed

Sick - meaning really, really cool
Butters - meaning 'ugly' when applied to people, or 'nasty' when applied to other things, like food.
Bare is doing the rounds in Yorkshire too.

And Peng- I think thats code for rubbish but can't quite remember...I'm so uncool.

(getting) Merked- which I didn't understand until my OH said its the equivalent of being 'wah'ed'

And I get all the reem crap from my kids too, they know I hate it and if they ever get too annoying and I want to tell them to shut up and stop acting like knobs in public we have our own little code word. I'll say 'N-Dubz' quietly and give them the look of death and they start talking properly.

Love it E_R absolutely love it. I might need to incorporate "n-dubz" into my conversations with the boy because I have no idea what he is blathering on about half the time.

This is all well and good as you have actual 'words' to obtain translations of, but could somebody please clarify for me the meanings of the following terms...
    Hmmmp
    Pfft
    Ungh
    Meh
    Fleh
    and last of all
    tuttt

which is all I get from No1 son at the moment!

I THINK hmmmp means 'yes please Ma that sounds lush' as that's what he says to most dinner suggestions!

My daughter is 13 and they're still using alot of the slang words I used when I was the same age but what I do find really irritating is when they post something on facebook and add extra letters that really shouldn't be there. If they were typing 'like' they would type 'likeeee' or 'girl' as 'girllllllll'. Why would you do that?
I think facebook should have a red pen app on it so we can ring round their mistakes, lol
