    Selfish celebrities

I may well be flamed for this but bollox to it! I'm sick to the back teeth of these tossers playing out their private lives in the papers with no thought for the welfare of their children!

The latest being this silly twat
Gail Porter tries to off herself

Grow up you weak bint and stop threatening to kill yourself every time you get dumped! Try staying single for a bit and learning to be a grown up instead of clinging to a bloke and then falling apart when he decides you're a fruit loop and does a runner! Think about your child, you selfish COW

I have every sympathy for anyone who suffers from depression and mental health problems having had bouts of depression myself but think its a double edged sword and that the press seem to think we WANT to read about articles like this, I think the 'celebrities' have little choice but to get their side of the story out there so we see the articles with them opening their hearts up about whatever they're going through.

I agree it must be terrible for the kids to go through life with a parent who is suffering, let alone having it plastered all over the papers.

We do all tend to roll our eyes when we see something like this me included, more so because I really don't think we need to see stories like this...but read them anyway!

Risking sounding like a prissy do-gooder, I think it annoys me more that stuff like this is actually deemed news worthy, the woman clearly needs help and I am sure stories like this add more stress to someone who is obviously unstable anyway

Couldn't have put it better myself, I totally agree. Whether the attempt is a serious one, or a cry for attention, she needs help not publicity.

Hear hear all round! If anyone needed a super-injunction to keep silent for the sake of their kids, it's this lot. Selfish publicity seekers.

On the Jordan/Katie Price issue, I know if that were me, despite my age my mum, sister & friends would kick my sorry arrse and tell me to go hide under a rock.

I can not stand it anymore, it has got completely out of control. Was hoping that the Royal Wedding would blow it all out of the window but it seems as all the "celebs" just took the fortnight off as they knew they were not going to get any coverage in the papers.

Cracking example for me was this week when the blonde girl out of TOWIE was in the Daily Mail as she is starting some fitness regime and no doubt a DVD will be part of the package. Three days later there was a story about a 40 something who had lost about 5 stone and it was sooooo refreshing to read about someone normal......

Whilst I don't berate her for her actions, after all she must be suffering a heck of a lot to try to take her own life, especially as she has a daughter. It must be horrible to have her every downfall plastered all over the news.

Whilst I agree you should try your best to pull yourself together for the sake of your kids,I also feel it would be a lot easier if she didn't have long lens cameras shoved in her face documenting every move.
