Britz 2010 - love or loathe

    Liam = knobhead
Lady Gaga = talented performance artist hiding behind a mask - fear of rejection
    Peter Kay = Legendary
    Cheryl Cole = bad miming
Robbie = love although he's like some bar room singer but mainstream and stellar
    Alicia Keyes =just awesome

What did you think of the Britz?

I thought it was completely crap - I was either shouting "what on earth is she wearing or never heard of them" every twenty seconds, which of course is a true sign that you are on the wrong side of 40 years old  .

Robbie Williams for lifetime achievement - complete and utter bollocks! It should have been Madness (or have they already had one?).

Bring back Philip Schofield and Gordon the Gopher presenting Smash Hits Poll Winners Party - all is forgiven

What a bloody hideous photographGIVING BIRTH

She appears to be trying to shove a particularly large baby out of her 'foofoo' with all that gurning and straining!! She's lucky she didn't prolapse her piles!! How terribly classy Ms Cole!! 8O

I didn't watch the brits, I'm lucky if I catch a quarter of a TV programe these days. Have caught snippets on the news this morning though.
WTF is up with giving Robbie Williams a lifetime achivement award? He spat his dummy out and left a pop band in the midst of his career, made two good albums and a mediocre one, went away necked a load of anti depressants, got fat, got clean, necked another load of prescription pills, came back made a shitty album and picked up a LA at the Brits! I mean come on, Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey, Bono, Sting THAT'S a lifetime, THAT'S an achievement! I've got nothing against the lad, I've even seen him in concert, but lets face it, the man has bags of personality but he's no Frank Sinatra!

Lady Gaga dresses like a freak in the vain hope that we forget to notice that it's got little talent.
Cherly Cole ditto! I think someone put it so right, as the words "polished turd" spring to mind. Once a chav always a chav.
Gallagher - whichever primate lookalike brother it was! Attention seeking prat. It got boring in the nineties dude! Do you think we really still care that you act out worse than an ignored nine year old. Grow the f&ck up!

It's a bloody good job I didn't watch the whole thing to be fair!!

WTF is up with the press? Brave Cheryl! BRAVE? What has she done that is so fricking brave? Is she a secret soldier and we just don't know it? Has she run in front of a HGV to push a small child out of harms way? has she heck!

Re: Britz 2010 - love or loathe

Watching that pile of rubbish I realised a number of things about my life:

First, I only watched it for the potential car crash. I was not disappointed in that respect. That makes me a bad person for being entertained by others' misfortune.

Second, I have turned into my parents. Years ago they would say 'what's that rubbish, that's not music!' to me listening to New Romantics, Krautrock and synth-based alternatives on the Old Grey Whistle Test. I found myself doing the same last night.

Third, I always thought Peter Kaye was funny. But trying to play that event with gags from Pheonix Nights just didn't work. I'm turning into a critical old cynic.

Finally, my conclusion? I'm too old to be watching the Brits anymore!!
