From a mother's point of view, I'd avoid the place like the plague. Sorry, but nothing would make me want to be anywhere near that hospital!

Agreed, although my house is NEVER tidy. Everything was cleared up, they got my bed ready complete with bed mats and hot water bottle and sat with me on my bed chatting as I snuggled my tiny little baby![]()
My husband made them both a brew after baby was born (I got a pint of Pepsi cos I went into shock a bit as it all happened so quickly), and they said they'd wash their cups up before letting themselves out. We came down the next morning and they'd washed up all our dinner plates etc too, bless them.
Can i just pretend i give birth to 3 foot 30 pounders and get the midwifes to clean me house......just a thought like
The new news about the hospital doesn't fill you with confidence. I wouldn't go there if there were any alternatives.
