Crikey it has been a while since I have written one of these. I am back in Polska after half term and am struggling (despite the put a brave face on it and get on with it routine!) It's hard - it was easier when he was on tour. This me being here and him being there. If I was in the UK it would be a lot easier. THat's the next part of the plan to work on. Job applications!!

We finally enter my favourite part of the year for being a teacher - that half term before Christmas! I am lucky that I work with kids from the age of 18 months right up to 18 years old and to be honest, this time of year the little ones make my day!!

What is hard though is being back here. I had a lovely week in the UK playing house and then a sort of impromptu weekend in London to see a musical as a birthday present. It made such a change to the musical trips of my childhood. My parents were not stingy not by any stretch of the imagination but the trips to the west end usually involved pick and mix sweets bought from Tesco and not at the theatre, and as for drinks in the interval - forget it. My delight at being a 30 something and taken to a musical where a) had drinks before hand in the pub next door b) had a glass of champagne before in the theatre and c) had popcorn and d) got interval drinks made it a lovely experience. It's times like this that I truly appreciate what I have in my man. It really is the small things that make me love him. No-one has ever done something like that for me before (I would have to have had organised the tickets etc etc) so it was just perfect. Also staying in London overnight to be able to drive up to Luton on Sunday night for my flight meant that Sunday lasted a bit longer than usual. Now am counting down 30 odd days until I get to see him again - by that point i will have opened door 1 of the advent calendar - SCARY!!!!!
