Ah - like many of us - I have neglected blogging since the OH came back from the sandpit - work got busy, then term ended, then on leave.
July 2nd seems like such a long time ago now...but the time has come to wave goodbye to Blighty once again. I don't actually leave until Saturday but today/tonight is the last time I get to spend time with the OH until mid September. My brain tells me I should be ok - I mean it's not like he is going back out to the sandpit again... but I know what I'm like. I have promised myself - no leaking.
While most people make new years resolutions for January, my year works on the academic cycle therefore September 1st is the time for a new start and making new resolutions.
This next academic year will be an interesting one for me.... I am determined to come back to the UK to live and find a job over here in the south coast - have worked out anywhere between Plymouth and Portsmouth is doable as a weekend commute...(anything that doesn't involve a plane is a bonus!)
So what are my resolutions for this year?
1. Lose weight (I have come down 3 dress sizes, another 2 and I'm done!)
2. Get a UK job
3. Find somewhere to live in the UK (Preferably in the same place as the job)
4. Not stress so much
5. See as much of the OH as possible (watch out BA your profits will soar!)
