Yes the Magic Number, 50 is here today! 7 weeks tomorrow and I should be able to pick him up and we can resume normal life again (not that anything about our life is normal you understand, but normal for us!)

The time has flown!!

Been a busy week for me - hence the no wittering on here!! Ironically though I have the possibility of a secondment to 'troubleshoot' to the Middle East for Two Months in about a months time (and anyone with a brain cell can work out that would involve crossover of his time there and mine just in different countries!). I have been assured though if I get to go that they will honour my leave to come home and get my man!! not sure he will want to come out back to the middle east with me though to live from a hotel for a month!!! But I will know more about this later on in the week.

I was afraid to tell him - it's brilliant news for me professionally, but it did coincide with his coming home and his leave. Had they offered me this, this term, it would have been fine as I would have been based out there and 'closer' to him. He seems excited enough though and I think as long as I got to come home for a few days to see him at the end of tour it should be ok. This is all hypothetical though as there is one other name in the hat for this- so wait and see!!

Goes to show - it's not just for the RM I need a pencil for!
