Time to buy a hat- someone is getting married

Well I suppose that time was bound to come around sooner or later. I mean how long could I honestly stop it from happening? The world of white dresses and cakes far too large for one Party has clashed with my peaceful little existence.
Obviously this is not my wedding- those of you who know me know how terrified I am of the M word! It is in fact mine and Mr D’s friends getting hitched. I just get to hear all about the difference between a fish tail and a meringue- Why do we name dresses after food? Hmm a blog for another time.
You might be wondering by now why would dizzy write a blog about this when she is reduced to a nervous, quivering wreck at the mere mention of “wedding confetti”. Well good readers I shall enlighten you as to why I am wasting these precious minutes of your life (and my lecture).
My friends were in the unfortunate position of being sent two sets of wedding stationary. So being the enterprising kind of folk- they popped them up for sale via the face ache.
Now at this point I was very proud of my friends, making money from someone else’s mistake is always a good thing in my book. That was until I found out that Mr D had offered to buy them! I am sure you can imagine how shocked I was seeing this.
After much discussion Mr D has said “it doesn’t hurt to be prepared” so I am warning you ladies- look out for a boy scout with his own set of wedding invitations- he has plans for one of you!
