Day 24 - I'm not counting ...

Not in a bad mood but thought I'd start the day with a back-track

First of all - after all my congratulating myself on having 2 mobile phones so that one was ALWAYS free for a call from the Sand Pit, I quite clearly needed to be sitting re-reading instead of putting some music on last night. Left said phone downstairs...and missed his call.

It's not the end of the world, and speaking to someone about said incident ...

Captain's Log, Day 23 ; Star-system : Planet Insomnia

Afternoon! Lack of sleep/sleeping at the wrong time is not good for one's social habits. Note to self: re-read this at some point, woman, and stop sending people replies to missed texts at 6.03am in the morning. They don't appreciate it. Just because I'm awake, doesn't mean to say that the rest of the world is.

I also talk even more bollocks when sleep-deprived, if any of you believe it possible. I'm still trying ...

I'm back! As you may all have gathered, I am FINALLY home (see "Things I am happy about" thread in "Social" if in doubt to the enormity of my pleasure at returning home) and very, very, pleased about it.

Sharing a double bed with two dogs for the past 3 weeks and having an average of 3 hours a night sleep, when I could have been here in a SuperKing bed which is far easier to actually grab some duvet on, (or the couch, fair enough, I've hardly made it to bed really ...

A very quick update as I've had no time online as of late. I promise this entry isn't war and peace...that'll keep for next week when I'm HOME!

Things have been H E C T I C here and are only about to calm down. I've been very fortunate to have a call every day - except on Monday - from the OH since he went to the Sandpit and he sounds thoroughly bored with his job (which is good - it means the "exciting" stuff like being shot at/blown up isn't happening as of yet) though ...
