Searches are now back with the purchasers solicitor. She is going to look at the file and the searches and see if there are any queries that have not been answered by my solicitor already. Survey is still not booked yet, but the purchasers have been chased up to get it sorted because Mr Gonzo and I are going to view a house on 11/08. Impatient, me? Never!

How long to do anything? Searches due back early next week according to EA, and the mortgage company have still not arranged a valuation. This is taking forever, and I very much doubt I needed to worry about it completing when I am moving, more like Christmas time. Ridiculous.

The buyers solicitors have got money on account now, definate instruction and the buyers have also completed the full mortgage application. The searches have been requested, but the solicitor won't do anymore work on the property until they are back because they are not local and do not know what questions to ask. Valuation has not yet been instructed either, but it is with underwriters and they ...
