house selling - the biggest ball ache in the world. Eight weeks five days since offer and the lender is still waiting for information from HMRC before they will instruct a valuation on my property. I wish they would hurry the hell up, I want to go house hunting. Clueless FTB's, who would have them.
Estate Agent has now told them that if they don't get their act together they will be re-marketting the property.
Searches are now back with the purchasers solicitor. She is going to look at the file and the searches and see if there are any queries that have not been answered by my solicitor already. Survey is still not booked yet, but the purchasers have been chased up to get it sorted because Mr Gonzo and I are going to view a house on 11/08. Impatient, me? Never!
Few things have happened in the last few weeks but no.1 in importance is my cousin and lovely friend has her baby
Got the text from her phone but presumably from her OH simply giving name, weight, time and 'mum and baby doing well'. I'm soso happy for her, I know its all come when she least expected it but she managed to finish off her degree even if she did have to sit her exams at 8 months pregnant and she did make me giggle 'no one tells you about the weird symptoms, my belly is so
How long to do anything? Searches due back early next week according to EA, and the mortgage company have still not arranged a valuation. This is taking forever, and I very much doubt I needed to worry about it completing when I am moving, more like Christmas time. Ridiculous.
Hello Heli, I know you like my updates (sorry everyone else).
Spoke to the EA today. The buyers solicitors have got money on account now, definate instruction and the buyers have also completed the full mortgage application. The searches have been requested, but the solicitor won't do anymore work on the property until they are back because they are not local and do not know what questions to ask. Valuation has not yet been instructed either, but it is with underwriters and they
